Spiegelau Glassware in New Zealand
In 2004, Spiegelau was purchased by Georg Riedel, the owner of Riedel Glass Works,
and is now part of theRiedel Glass Works, and is now part of the Riedel/Nachtmann/Spiegelau Group.
In response to this growth, in 2006, with its reputation on the rise, the company launched
Spiegelau U.S.A., its North American headquarters under the direction of eleventh generation
glass making executive Maximilian Riedel.
Spiegelau´s unrelenting commitment to excellence combined with its ability to innovate and
still remain accessible has allowed the company to endure and prosper where so many other
glass manufacturers have melted away like so much molten glass.
Spiegelau combines over five centuries of hand craftsmanship and innovation with the most
advanced modern glass making technologies to produce superb glasses that are ideally suited
for today´s wine lovers.
In addition, Spiegelau also preserves the age old craft of hand blown glass. By working closely
